Twon-ha
The twon-ha is a strange two-legged creature. It is a genetic oddity since its a vertebrate but lacks the two extra limbs found on all other mammals.
It has birdlike features but lacks feathers instead possessing a thick brown skin. They have been domesticated by the talan and serve as their main work animal throughout Adelpha.
They are herbivorous and like to eat sweet fruits; they particularly like the fruit of the hoti tree.
.
Ventilope
Ventilopes are remarkably large birds. Not only have they retained their ability to fly, but with a wingspan of eight metres they can carry nearly their own weight while airborne.
While they are tameable, they don’t take domestication too well and require extensive training before they can be of use to talan; this is worth it however. During the time of Fae Rhan’s regime they were used by his soldiers for surveillance puposes and to make quick strikes against the dolotai guardians.
.
Gamor
Gamors are aggresive carnivores and generally eat Twon-ha but will attack other mammals as well.
They have a mix of both canine and feline features. Physically they look similar to tigers but lack the retractable claws, also like wolves they only hunt in packs and are not territorial.

Sannegta
Sannegtas are very big fish, similar to sharks. They are particuarly ferocious predators and will attack anything swimming in their vicinity.
They live in the waters around Okasankaar, as well as in the oceans of Adelpha. Like regular fish, they have a highly developed sense of smell and the most effective way of repelling them is to float sacks of Twon-ha dung in the water.
